Pack Rafting is the latest craze sweeping the globe and RnR mini expeditions are excited to offer full day packrafting tours for the first time in QLD. This is the only way to experience pristine rainforest, crystal clear rivers and breathtaking scenery and to be one of the first people to take a pack rafting trip with an experienced company like RnR mini expeditions.

This is not a trip for your average couch potato!

The 1 man pack rafts are light and rugged, they are deflated and carried in to the start of the river along with your lunch and an inflation bag (total weight 4.5 kgs), All this adds to the hands on adventurous nature of this mini expedition. Follow a single file track through the lush rainforest of Wooroonooran National Park to get to the crystal clear waters of the Russell River 3 hours of exhilarating white water rafting, lunch on the river bank and ample opportunities to swim are just some of the highlights.

On the river, Pack Rafts are group guided. Skilled guides show you how best to negotiate the rapids while maintaining a very safe environment in which you can enjoy the thrills and sometimes spills. Our Pack Rafts are super stable but make no mistake your driving it so………..

Dear Valued Guest,

Cairns Adventure Group has been significantly affected by Cyclone Jasper and the subsequent flooding across the region. Due to current road closures and damage to Barron Gorge hydro station, we are unable to operate Barron River Rafting. Please keep an eye on our socials @cairnsadventuregroup for further updates.

We’re happy to advise Tully River Rafting and Bad Fishy Jetboating are both operating as normal for your white-water adventure!
